Every year, 1st Choice Pregnancy Resource Center is able to help hundreds of women (and men) in the Texarkana area find support when dealing with unplanned pregnancies. Our goal is to empower our clients to choose life by offering practical services, support, and education.
All of the services we provide are completely free for our clients. We depend on the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations, and churches to fund our Center, and rely on dedicated volunteers to assist our staff in providing services. Generous members of our community have allowed us to serve the Texarkana area for over 40 years.
With your help, we can empower women facing one of the most difficult times in their life, and inspire them to approach their situation with confidence and hope. Your donation and partnership with our Center goes a long way toward realizing that goal.
We rely on the generosity of our community to keep our ministry going. Churches, individuals, and businesses support us throughout the year, some on a monthly basis. You can mail donations to 602 Main St., Texarkana, TX 75501 or make a one-time or ongoing online contribution here.
There are a number of ways you can help at 1st Choice. For those who feel called to work directly with clients, we can train you to be a peer counselor or a class facilitator. We also need spiritual support people who pray with and for clients, lead Bible studies and serve as mentors. Other areas you can serve include helping in the Mommy Store, assisting with mail-outs, offering handyman or gardening services, or helping with special projects. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Sarah, our Coordinator of Volunteer Services at receptionist@firstchoiceprc.com or (903) 792-5735. You can get started by completing our Volunteer Application here.
Our Mommy Store is stocked with baby and maternity items our clients can earn by participating in classes. We rely on donations to keep the store stocked.

We will accept almost any items that one would need during pregnancy or once the baby arrives. Items can be dropped off during regular hours. Donations are tax deductible.
